Computers are everywhere and it will become for everyone. For me, I get up, late or early, I use my laptop before taking breakfast. I open three websites first : One national to see what happens in my country, The second is international to discover if the world becomes a good place to live.but.in vain, third my Email to look out if a new message waits me
I eat my breakfast while watching TV on the same time, you can see that Television has its place although computers have all you need to know and to do.
Then, I took some online courses about Project Management, Logistics and programming, I use the Microsoft pack to learn little by little to master this essential tool, I use some external resources about English and french language learning. The content is really huge. You will need just time and connection to swim onto a river of knowledge.and you can of course watching a movie or Rome Vs Milan(it's our leisure time).
In business, workers are really dependent on computers.they are the core of the company, without it, work will be too hard because there are a lot of data to collect and to treat, and it takes time.IS (Information Systems) can do this easily!
In Hospitals, Schools, Administrations, Restaurants and everywhere. Maybe in Mars soon!
What I recommend really to do is reinforce the presence of computers in schools and give lessons to students to become familiars with these tools, because, on a personal experiment, I saw the first laptop when i was on 16 years old, it was too late, it would be too early if schools planned to give lessons to students at 7 years old. I remember the day, it was a Monday afternoon, when I passed an exam and it was about using EXCEL and WORD, I was too slowly during the exam because it was my first experience in front of a computer. I was too shy when the supervisor approach to see what I'm doing and when seeing my classmates finished it at all.
After buying my first laptop, life changed a lot for me because I stayed during hours in front of my laptop seeing sun on morning and when it goes down and life becomes without sense, but the question is although our need to not be too dependent on computers, we still and i still in front of my laptop the whole day.
Computers becomes a part of us, so we cannot live without it !
